Copy of Grandmother's Buttons 001-D31B Melange Earring White

Out of stock
Two pieces of vintage amethyst glass and a stamped brass flower come together harmoniously in these pretty earrings.

Anchoring this design, you'll find a Soviet-era glass button manufactured in a factory in the U.S.S.R. Both the factory and U.S.S.R  are now in history's dustbin. Yet, this button has survived it all and found you.

Above the Soviet buttons are clouded amethyst cabochon hand-pressed in mid-century Czechoslovakia. These vintage glass treasures are offset with sweet brass daisy stampings made today in vintage dies.

In this piece, from the bottom:

  • Soviet-era amethyst glass buttons made in the U.S.S.R.
  • Small vintage clouded amethyst cabochons made in Czechoslovakia
  • Tiny stamped brass flowers and three-bezel brass settings made today in the USA in vintage dies
  • Nickel-free and lead-free brass lever-back ear wires
  • Length is 2”
