Founder, Susan Davis, purchased the German button on her very first button hunting trip. In 1987 she traveled to New York City to examine the Streamline Button Company's back stock and returned with her first sizable midcentury West German glass cache. 

Since this time, she's amassed an enormous collection of antique buttons and vintage glass now stored on every nook, crevice, and corner of her design studio. Sometimes buttons, like this exceptional German beauty, are rediscovered after hiding for decades. 

The Czech glass button was hand-pressed in antique molds and manufactured using centuries-old processes. Its beauty is a lovely testament to the enduring talent of the few remaining Czech glass artisans still working today.
